IJCC Leadership Change

IJCC Leadership Change.
By Punchwood

The Independent Joint Command Coalition (IJCC) has a new Chairman in the form of former President Rach, better known as Solorni in the wider NS world. Her appointment comes after the resignation of former Chairman Writinglegend who had come under fire for his handling of an operation with Osiris which resulted in Osiris withdrawing from the treaty of friendship between Osiris and Europeia. The change in leadership, however, comes weeks after that controversy and both President Sopo and Writinglegend have confirmed to the EBC that the change in leadership was not due to Writinglegend’s handling of that operation.

The IJCC was announced to the region at the end of May this year and it created a Joint Command system between the militaries of Europeia, Balder and The Land of Kings and Emperors. It's aim was to create a stronger, nimbler and more united military force that could fight for and defend the political ideology of Independence. Writinglegend who has a long and distinguished military career in Europeia, serving as Grand Admiral on numerous occasions, was appointed as the first Chairman of the IJCC and has been thanked by many for his leadership and service to the IJCC in its initial first months. He has since been nominated and confirmed to serve once again as Grand Admiral of the ERN.

The new Chairman of the IJCC; Solorni, was confirmed by unanimous consent by the Supreme Military Council. The current Queen of Balder, she is known throughout the NS world as a highly competent military leader with a long list of accomplishments as well as being a staunch independent. Her appointment is sure to fill confidence in many due to her extensive experience as well as her often bold leadership.

Writinglegend resigned because he wouldn't have time to commit to his duties as Chairman and Grand Admiral so he chose Grand Admiral.

That doesn't negate the facts of the matter, but it certainly wasn't the sole reason for resignation, I'd agree.

We now have a quote from the Grand Admiral:

"The Europeian Republican Navy is in a dire state. We need robust leadership with assured activity and strategic connections to restore our lost influence. Continuing to allow our military forces to decline is an acceptance of our declining influence abroad. We cannot, nor should not, let that happen, and I think I am the best man to turn the ship around."
