Max Lime: Hello and welcome to a special issue of Euro Weekly with me Max Lime. Tonight our Political Correspondent Liam Moody will have a look at the new President's Cabinet Nominees.

Liam Moody: I'll be looking at their strengths, weakness and possible struggles they might face during this term.

Minister of Radio: President Aexnidaral Seymour has nominated Senator Pichtonia for this position. Pichtonia had just served as the Minister of Communications and received wide credit for his performance as Minister. Pichtonia is a regular member in Radio shows and the President has pointed out that he knows much of the technical knowledge required for running the Ministry.

Pichtonia has however pointed out himself that he is "more of a bureaucrat than an idea's man." This could be an issue for Pichtonia taking over from a Minister who was known for being very enthusiastic and active. Some worry that the Ministry is not ready yet for a new Minister and would be better served with continuality from the same Minister. Pichtonia serving more of a "bureaucrat" may therefore come in as an advantage for him but it will have to be seen if the Ministry can function without Cpt.Carrot or Cat at the helm.

Grand Admiral: The President has nominated the former Minister of Radio Cat for the position of Grand Admiral. Cat is known for her strong work ethic and strong activity and enthusiasm. This could be hugely important for Cat with the previous Grand Admiral being criticised for lower activity than would have been preferred and so strong activity from Cat could be hugely beneficial.

Cat has however been criticised for her lack of activity in the ERN. While she has been credited for her military service outside of the ERN she is only an Ensign within the ERN. As the previous Grand Admiral Kraketopia pointed out "there are two officers whom are both Rear Admirals that are ready to be Grand Admiral." It will have to been seen if Cat will require extra guidance during her first few weeks as Grand Admiral due to a lack of ERN experience.

Minister of Communications: XIV who was voted the most promising Newcomer of the year recently has been nominated by the President for the position of Communications Minister. XIV is well credited for being a strong writer and is known for being able to gain incredibly accurate historical information and report on it.

After resigning from the Senate however and failing to be elected the Chair of the Citizen's Assembly, XIV's activity has faltered. He had also been made Editor in Chief of a Column but that Column only released one article since his appointment. It will have to be seen if XIV can serve well as a leader or if he is better off working in a team.

Minister of Culture: The President has nominated the man who was his boss just two days ago. Writinglegend is a veteran when it comes to Culture and has already provided a long and detailed plan to the Senate along with the Promises in Aex's campaign which he also helped to write.

An issue that could affect Writinglegend however is setting too high expectations with a detailed and ambitious plan being set out. It also looks like he will rely heavily on Assistant Minister's and it seems he will require many of them. Should he not receive a number of AMs and/or if they are not extremely enthusiastic and active he could severely struggle to achieve all his goals.

Minister of Foreign Affairs: Aexnidaral has nominated Kuramia as his Minister of Foreign Affairs. Kuramia has been serving as a Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and has previously served as the Minister of Communications. Her strong wit and experience in Foreign Affairs help her in this nominating process.

The main issue facing Kuramia is questions about her character. HEM in a furious attack called her "totally uncooperative as a Minister" and "borderline insubordinate to her supervisors. He then went on to say that he was close to firing her from the Cabinet while he was serving as President. These concerns about her character have continued in the Senate with people worried that she can be too stubborn and possibly single-minded. While we believe that she will confirmed by the Senate it will be up to Kuramia to prove those concerned that they were wrong.

Minister of the WA Kaboom has been nominated to serve another term as Minister. Serving as the Minister the previous term and being credited as getting the ground work for the Ministry done sets Kaboom in a strong position. He also oversaw the repel of the Spam Accords and has been considered to have a great work ethic.

The issue does not lay with Kaboom but more at his Ministry. It is still asked if they is much need for a separate Ministry for the WA and if people truly care. Kaboom's end of term address received just 50 views and 3 replies one of which came from himself. Kaboom will need to show that there really is a need for his Ministry and that people are interested otherwise he could risk becoming one of the last or the last Minister of the WA.

Minister of Interior: The President has nominated another newcomer in his Cabinet in the form of Leo Draken for Minister of Interior. Leo was nominated for Newcomer of the year and is widely regarded as a rising star in the region. His strong activity in the CA helps him along with him being appointed a Deputy for Interior. He also wants to focus more on the integration side of Interior which is widely supported currently due to the previous terms having often neglected integration.

For Leo concerns about his previous attempt the restart the Mentor Programme have been raised and the few recruitment telegrams he had sent (328). If it was not for his strong enthusiasm and activity he would likely struggle due to a lack of what he can publicly take credit for and relative lack of experience. Leo will have to show that he can do what others couldn't by bring back the integration side of Interior or people may be saying in 70 days time that they warned he was not quite ready.

Chief of Staff: Aex has chose to nominate a Chief of Staff in this case North East Somerset. NES who is considered a veteran of Europeia and is known for his vast record would serve in the Cabinet to provide support and guidance to the Minister's in Cabinet and would work in all the Ministries.

Like Kaboom the issue is not with him but more the position he was nominated for. There has already been some raising questions over the size of the Cabinet that Aex has nominated. It will certainly be one of the largest if not the largest Cabinet in Europeia's history. Some will question the need for this extra Cabinet position and if it is really necessary.

Liam Moody: Back to you, Max.

Max Lime: Thank you Liam. Well that is it for this Special Edition of Euro Weekly, we will see you next week for another issue of Euro Weekly. Goodnight.
