Euro goes Red

(Europeia- September 7, 2018) - Earlier this week Minister of Foreign Affairs here in Europeia Rach announced the plans to build ties with The Communist Bloc among two other regions; Caer Sidi and Forest. apart from out current sphere. A few days later President Drexlore, along with the Minister of Foreign Affairs have officially placed a Pact of Non-Aggression between the two regions. announced to the Senate and region at large a Pact of Non-Aggression between Europeia and The Communist Bloc.
President Drexlore has mentioned in his address to speaker Pichtonia the Senate that the ambassador from The Communist Bloc; The Word Smuggler has been active in our the community and played an important role in building relations between the two regions. and even spent time playing weekend games with other citizens here. President Drexlore has also highlighted that this could lead not only to stronger ties in the future, as this is only a PNA, but that it is with one of the largest UCR's in the game. Rach has received praise for pushing this initiative through. and
Questioning from the Senate has begun. There were a few yays and a few nays to this treaty proposed where Senator Puchwood and OD expressed support, while Senators Pierce, Vlaska and Pichtonia had some questions. Speaker Pichtonia spoke raised concern about the language of the treaty:
"The treaty is not written in a way where it is frankly not within our own standards, and where I believe this Senate and our citizens should raise and eyebrow." Our
The Speaker has questioned the drafting and legal experience sought out during the draft of the treaty and but still expressed his and the Senate's support for ties with the The Communist Bloc.
